Haha..just reading this for the 1st time,and your discovery of Disco is pretty much identicle to mine ,in timeframe and in the Material,(Love Saves the Day,Last Night,the mel Cheren book and Maestro.. that you discovered..

Awesome article Stu! I’ve Been getting into DISCO/FUNK now for 12-18 months, and after buying Disco CD complations I’ve decided to gets some decks and only buy vinly now. Will be chcking out one of those books you recomended!

Being a fellow party; goer that listened to the likes of Ron Hardy here in Chicago. It’s very interesting on here how this music/culture was so vibrant internationally.
