Charles Jackson - Ooh Child

Another edit for you - this time a 1978 cosmic gospel (new genre alert) track from Capitol Records called Ooh Child by Charles Jackson. It was first heard on the album Passionate Breezes by Mr Jackson himself - but this is taken from a 1978 12″ release on the same label, whom Charles was signed to. You can also find the original lurking on a fantastic Capitol compilation CD. Ok, I think I have now said “Capitol” enough times.

The beef with the edit is simple. The track wasn’t long enough for me, I wanted to re arrange it to make it build better, and stretch it out a bit. Easier for me to play then, that’s all. Didn’t need an edit, doesn’t want an edit, got one anyway. Seeing as how I am not looking to take over the world releasing my edits on vinyl (as they are hardly groundbreaking) its here for you to download. I do suggest that you try and pick up an original copy of the track as well, seeing as how its not that difficult to fin(d and we all still love vinyl, of course).
