Traktor…

I have decided to try out some of the other DJ systems besides Serato, just to see what’s what – and get a feel for what I like more. When I bought Serato a few years ago, I was told at the time that Traktor Pro was unstable and not the one to go for. Now, however, it seems things have changed. I bought myself one of these cheeky little soundcards (the advert I found on youtube is linked above), and a copy of the Traktor Pro software, and am going to give it a go and see what it gives me over Serato.
I play a lot of stuff from vinyl as well and need the ability to go back and forth between all the different formats, so I wont be able to get a good feel for the system until I have managed to try the vinyl control, but im interested to see what effects and things it gives me as I was intending to purchase a nifty little Kaoss Mini. Ill post up my findings and thoughts on the differences between the two systems when I have had some time to play.
Be nice to hear from anyone who might have used both Serato and Traktor and what the major differences are…
Can’t say that I’ve ever tried Serato but I’m very satisfied with the Traktor Pro, Audio 2 DJ and a VCI-100SE controller setup.
