Archive back for boxing night…
It might not be a “tradition” just yet, as its only the second year – but im pretty sure that it is destined to become one. Boxing Night in Liverpool is a big night out for the locals, and boxing night in Liverpool is now a big night for Archive. Were back again on the 26th with a FREE party. You wont get that anywhere else in town, and were doing it to setup what promises to be a great year of archive parties in 2010.
El Diablos top the bill – the best night out in Manchester if your musical tastes are anyway inclined towards disco, and one of the best dj’s I know – Neil Scott – will be representing the crew. This time we miss regular cohort Scott McGill as he will be sunning himself in the lakes, but we have asked Jo Joy to come in and spin for us instead.
Add in to the mix myself and Andy Mac (the other archive residents) and a format that means no DJ will play for set hours like usual (instead, we will constantly be on rotation all night) and you get the idea – its a house party. I usually write here that if you want to be on the paying guestlist, or need a ticket you should get hold of me as soon as possible – but I don’t need to this time. Its free. Just come down and enjoy.
