Cosmic Boogie #003 released…
The third Cosmic Boogie release has landed in record shops, brought to you by Greg Wilson and Ian Dewhirst respectively.

For their latest vinylicious edition, Cosmic Boogie sound a fanfare for two genuine legends of the groove – Greg Wilson and Ian Dewhirst. Greg you already know, but Ian might be unfamiliar despite a truly illustrious career. Mastercuts, the seminal series of dance compilations that Ian devised in the 90′s was only part of a veritable goldmine of hundreds of albums he has compiled down the years – check your sleevenotes, you’re bound to have some in your collection.
First appearing on 1994′s Crown Heights Affair ‘Deep Beats’ comp, ‘Dreaming A Dream’ is a vintage Dewhirst edit that ticks all the correct Disco boxes – the track being a Blackpool Mecca favourite back in ’75, when Ian was known as DJ Frank on the Northern Soul scene. To compliment, Greg splices the esoteric ‘Time Moves On’ by Strutt (from ’76), a hidden gem of a tune. Back to back, GW and ID – pure knowledge!
