Guest Mix 15 – Jess Gascgoine

This is the best mix I have heard on Soundcloud so far – and there are, as you know, lots of mixes on Soundcloud. Jess sent me a message over to check some of her stuff out, and as you can see from the rather ace tracklisting its a skillful mix of funk, soul and northern with a touch of Jazz. Its the kind of thing most of us love, but don’t have the records (or the ability) to put together. These are all from original 7″, and for that, all I can do is doff my cap and ask that if you only download one mix from this site, let it be this one. Truly inspiring.
You can catch Jess playing around Liverpool from time to time at The Magnet, and you can hear this and other things up on her Soundcloud page.
