About Us

Cosmic Boogie is a collective of DJ’s and like minded people who are all interested in the groove. Based in Liverpool but with hooks into other parts of north west UK, we are devoted to the past, present and future of Dance Music. The site started in late 2007 backed by scene leader Greg Wilson, and founding fathers Stu Robinson and Gavin Kendrick, and will continue for as long as we have any passion.

Stu Robinson

Stu Robinson

Aside from conjuring websites, Stu plays what many people would call old shit records. It is his mission to find out as much about the origins of dance music as it is possible for one man to know, and then to tell you all about them through the medium of the internet. He write articles about technical things, spends time leafing through huge amounts of music (panicking because there isnt time to listen and absorb everything), and also tries to raise his children (if time permits). You can contact him using: collective@cosmicboogie.co.uk
