Another month, another step closer to Christmas, and another hour spent putting together the best bits I have bought from Juno this month. This is a download chart, I am about to do a big vinyl order so I’ll do a more traditional vinyl one when that’s gone through.

The stand out thing this month really (or stand out things) were the Linkwood album on Trusme’s label, and the Balihu compilation from Danny Wang. There also seems to be more and more edits released on download as well – including the excellent H-Track edits (which I felt including here would be cheating as I got them last year really). A great month though.

Another outing for the pretty awesome Juno embed chart thingy. This time its all a bit mixed up with some house, disco, breakbeat funk, new stuff old stuff – exactly as a chart should be really. I know its August now, but these are the selections for last month. You can listen to any of the tracks above and buy them through Juno download. Id do one for normal vinyl as well, but I get that from all over – so really when it comes to the chart ill just stick with the downloads one. Going to try and do this as regular as possible…

God bless you Juno, truly an innovator in music sites today. I remember when it was like one big spreadsheet Juno – loads of great music, but an absolutely rubbish website. Evolution indeed.
